Each room features colonial inspired decoration and furnishings. Playacar is a peaceful resort and makes an ideal base for exploring. The resort is modern and shares the beach with Playa del Carmen, both resorts are opposite the tax free snorkeling and diving paradise of Cozumel. Cancun is a 40 minute drive away. Playa del Carmen provides the evening entertainment away from the hotel with plenty of lively bars and a laid back atmosphere.
