Description Gran Bahia Principe Riviera Maya in Tulum consists of 3 hotels; the Gran Bahia Principe Akumal, Gran Bahia Principe Tulum and Gran Bahia Principe Coba. This superb complex offers a stunning array of leisure facilities in an area of great natural beauty. Occupying a prime beachfront location, Playa del Carmen is a 30-minute coastal drive, whilst the airport at Cancun is one hour away.
The resort follows patterns of sustained tourism. Walking through the property guests can admire the wonderful tropical vegetation, nice gardens and protected areas where ecology and architecture combine perfectly.
Please note: Guests will be accommodated in either the Gran Bahia Principe Akumal or Gran Bahia Principe Tulum hotels, but with access to the facilities of all 3 hotels on site.

Across the 3 hotels there are 7 swimming pools with children’s section, 5 tennis courts, scuba diving school, sauna, steam room, Spa centre, water-sports centre with sailing boats, kayaks, hobie-cats and snorkelling equipment, fitness room, tennis court, volleyball, soccer play area, aerobics, use of bicycles, 7 buffet restaurants, 12 international a la carte restaurants (Mexican restaurant, Mediterranean restaurant, French & Japanese), 21 bars including lobby bars, pool bars, swim up bars, beach bars and theatre bars, disco, daily activities, evening entertainment, dance and language lessons, supervised kids club (4-12 years) and playground, beauty salon, dive shop, convenience store, internet facility and reception with exchange.
All Inclusive: Breakfast, lunch and dinner; snacks throughout the day; soft drinks and local beer (24 hours); locally produced wine and spirits (10.00-02.00); use of sports facilities, including non-motorized water-sports and 1 trial pool scuba dive; entertainment and activities; children’s club.
NB The following facilities are not included in the All Inclusive package: Sauna & steam room; scuba diving; Spa centre treatments; beauty salon, Internet facility. All the a la carte restaurants will require a reservation.
Rooms
Each of the 2250 guest rooms features a bathroom, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, safe (rental fee applicable), hairdryer, mini-bar and balcony or terrace. Rooms comprise either 1 king bed or 2 double beds. Families with children will be allocated a room with 2 double beds. |
