 The Costa Almeria boasts about 200 miles of varied, scenic coastline that attracts tourists to its developed resorts near the main towns, but also offers idyllic spots for nature-lovers to explore with its many unspoilt fishing villages, long sandy beaches and small intimate coves popular with nudists. Most visitors flock to the holiday resorts to the east and west of the lively capital city of Almeria, which boasts picturesque squares, some worthy sights to see, cafes, a ferry port and marina. Lovely beaches, marinas, hotels and sports centers provide plenty to keep holiday-makers happy in the resort towns of Mojacar to the east, and Anguadulce, Roquetas de Mar and Almerimar to the west of the city. |

Things to see and do in the Costa Almeria |
Aqua Tropic The park offers various slides & flumes with something for all ages. The children's lake is heaven for the little ones, where they can play safely. Completely renewed pool, six slides and outsize animals to play with. For older children and adults there's the Kamikaze which is the parks most daring attractions and if that doesn't get the adrenaline going then try the Rapids which is pure speed down the dizzy straights and bends. |

Mini Hollywood An interesting day away from the beach can be enjoyed by all the family at Mini Hollywood. Several films (or part of the film) has been made here and lovers films like A Fistful of Dollars, The Magnificent Seven and The Good, The Bad & The Ugly may recognise the set. There are actually two centres (Mini Hollywood & Texas Hollywood) and between 12.00h and 17.00h you will be able to see staged shootouts. There is also a small zoo to visit and a host of other props such has a Fort, Mexican Pueblo, Indian tepees and a Western style Saloon. |
