Family Holidays in Egypt with free child places |
Egypt is synonymous with Pharaohs, the pyramids, temples and antiquities from ancient civilisations. From desert landscapes and dry, rugged mountains that reach to the sea, dusty cities full of exotic sounds and smells, and green strips of agricultural land snaking along the banks of the Nile. Egypt has something to offer all travellers from all walks of life. Spectacular diving in the Red Sea; unique desert experiences, whether on the back of a camel to Mount Sinai or on a jeep safari to the inner oases; the colour and chaos of Cairo and its markets; and felucca cruises on the Nile River are just some of the exotic attractions awaiting visitors. Egypt promises an unforgettable experience of history and relaxation - a mixture of discovery and pleasure. The two main holiday resorts in Egypt are both on the Red Sea and are Hurghada and the more well known resort of Sharm El Sheikh. Both resorts offer a wide selection of holiday hotels offering board levels from bed & breakfast through to all inclusive. There isn't the self catering option in Egypt.

Sharm El Sheikh: Mount Sinai & St Catherine’s Monastery. A day or overnight trip where you can climb to the summit of Mount Sinai to watch the spectacular sunrise, followed by a trip to the Monastery. St Catherine’s Monastery dates back to AD337 after the Byzantine Empress Helena ordered it built around the Burning Bush. Local hotels can arrange the excursion for you. |

Glass Bottom Boat Trips: There are loads of boat trips on offer throughout all of the resorts and they can last between 1 to 3 hours. This is a great way to see the many species of fish that live in the coral just off the shore. Prices vary so check them out before booking. |
Camel ride and Star watching in the Desert. As with the boats there are several camel (or should I say dromedary, as they only have one hump) trips on offer. Some take you in the evening for dinner under the stars around a camp fire and others take you during the day to a Bedouin camp and offer you mint tea and freshly baked bread. |
| |
Scuba Diving & Snorkeling: There are many opportunities for both activities BUT they should only ever be done by experienced swimmers and divers. Several "chance to learn courses" are available in the resort but this can take up a lot of your holiday time and you would do better to learn in the UK before you go. Details can be found here. |

Free child places - Holidays, Hotels & Apartments. Our dynamic search does all the hard work in sourcing holidays with free child places. It searches from self catering holidays right through to all inclusive holidays with free child places and only returns the best deal found. All you need to do is enter the childrens ages on the last day of the holiday and the database will show the best deal available. If your party includes teenagers above 11 then you must enter these as adults as the airline will charge an adult fare. If your family includes infants then excluded them in the search (i.e. don't class them as a child) but do call us before booking so that we can ensure that a cot is available. Not sure! then play safe and give us a call as you'll find us very family friendly. Read more.... |
