Benidorm is the most famous of Costa Blanca’s resorts and is protected by the winds from three mountain ranges. It features two famous fantastic beaches with golden sand: the Playa de Levante (Sunrise Beach) with a broad promenade which offers bars, cafes and restaurants offering every type of cuisine imaginable and the Playa de Poniente (Sunset Beach) both beaches have been awarded the EU's Blue Flag. Watersports are available from both beaches including, banana boats and pedaloes. As for the nightlife, you won’t be disappointed since Benidorm is full of bars, clubs. discos all come alive at night together with cabaret shows. Apart from the beaches there is also the 'Terra Mitica' theme park which has something for all the family. If you need a break from the beach in the daytime then visit the the Old Town or Balcon del Mar, the famous view point. Benidorm is all about sun & fun and like Marmite you'll either love it or hate it but with cheap low-cost flights available try it out for a long weekend and make up your own mind.
