Overview
The hotel is close to the traditional village of Canico de Baxio, and approximately 12 kms from Funchal. The hotel has good views of the ocean and of the nearby Deserted Islands Nature Reserve. The resort has a pretty promenade, pebble beach and a selection of restaurants.
The hotel is in large gardens with direct access to the promenade, next to the Reis Magos beach, and 300 metres from the centre of Canico. The Madeira Wine Cellars is within walking distance, and a casino is roughly two miles away.
The Oasis Atlantico exceeds expectations. The main lobby has a sweeping staircase from the ground floor reception down to the bar- restaurant and heated saltwater swimming pool outside along with a Jacuzzi, plus a fresh water pool and sauna inside.
This hotel will appeal to couples and families looking for comfortable accommodation in a peaceful and relaxing resort. The hotel is 13 kms from the airport.
