Majorca Holidays with free child places

Majorca has some love child friendly beaches for happy family holidaysThe island of Majorca (Mallorca) off the east coast of Spain is the largest in the Balearics, which collectively form one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, and certainly in the Mediterranean. Majorca took off as a tourist Mecca in the 1960s, when a development boom spawned the building of hundreds of high-rise hotels, apartment blocks and shopping centres which now line most of the island’s coast. The capital, Palma, however still retains some of its historical flavour sporting grand mansions and a magnificent Gothic cathedral in its bustling centre. The northwest coast, too, still offers some secluded coves below the peaks of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, and several quaint old towns and villages. The east coast offers some great family friendly resorts such has Cala Bona and Cala Millor which offer superb gentle sloping beaches that are ideal for young ones.

Things to see and do in Majorca

Soller Railway: Whilst in Majorca you have the possibility of travelling in the only time machine that actually works, that takes you back in time: The Soller Railway. This railway has connected the city of Palma de Mallorca with the small town of Soller since 1912. The train travels 27 km along its narrow-gauge track through beautiful landscapes, and has completely retained its original character. The train takes one hour to achieve its goal: Soller, a small town that combines the charm of the Mediterranean with the open, worldly atmosphere of a port that is open to Europe.

Western Park Magalluf: Based on the theme of an old "Wild West" town this is one of the most popular "Water Park" attractions, offering a full variety of water rides, as well as a live show, diving exhibitions, falconry and much more. It features water attractions for all ages such as Tam Tam Splash, which is a huge wave pool; The Beast, a breath-taking slide; Wild River, a circular pool where you ride a rubber ring; and Water land, the perfect place for kids to live the most amazing adventures. Also, several shows take place everyday with birds of prey, sea lions, horses and even a diving show with jumps from over 30m.

Marineland Majorca: The park is located at Calvia’s Costa d’en Blanes beach. This wonderful marine zoo is backed by 35 years of history in entertainment, education, research and interconnection with nature. The internationally awarded Dolphin Shows are the park’s top attraction, along with the Sea Lion and Parrot Shows. Marineland Mallorca’s Bottlenose Dolphin exhibition shows are famous worldwide. During these shows, these smart and affectionate dolphins will play with their trainers, surf, pull a boat with children and much more. A truly unforgettable experience for visitors. Buy Tickets

Aqualand El Arenal is located near the El Arenal beach in the south of the island of Mallorca. It offers visitors the opportunity to spend an unforgettable day with their families and friends enjoying state of the art attractions such as the Banzai, the Grand Canyon and the Devil’s Tail. Also, three great areas for children: the Mini Park, the Dragoland and Polynesia. Relax at the end of the day on our fantastic green lawns and in the Jacuzzi. Polynesia is Aqualand El Arenal's newest attraction for children. Children can now dive into an exotic world of colour and slide down thematic slides, swim around an Aboriginal mask that spouts water jets, … A truly fascinating adventure. Buy Tickets
