Orlando Holidays - Things to see and do for families

Orlando Travel Guide - Family Friendly Orlando holidays - Orlando Hotels & Apartments only

The dolphins at Sea WorldAny Orlando guide has to start with Walt Disney which is only fare considering it was Walt who started it all at the beginning of the 1960's. Unfortunately he died before the first park, the Magic Kingdom, officially opened in 1971, but his legacy has taken root and is still growing. There are several ways to purchase attraction tickets and the best way is to get them before you go as this is cheaper and safer. The wrong way to buy tickets is from a road side vendor and you will see plenty of these during your trip. They offer cheaper tickets but it's linked to getting you to visit a timeshare complex which can take up half a day of your holiday. So with more attractions on offer than you could fit in, where do you go. The best way is to plan well ahead and if you're in Florida for 14 days then it would be best to spend half of them (giving yourself a rest day in-between) at the attractions and the other half visiting the sites, shopping malls or simply just relaxing by the pool. To save money try and buy Flexi tickets and multi park tickets but the golden rule is to never buy what you can't use. Below are the best family attractions in Florida and details on the various ticket deals available.
